From time to time, you may see your tracks in playlists in other sources (Spotify for Artists for example) but not on Spot On Track. This is usually for one of these reasons:

  • We only track a subset of all existing playlists (more than 7 millions at the moment, with new ones being added every day). So it is possible the playlist is not in our system. In that case, all you have to do is to copy paste the playlist link in our Playlists search. The playlist will then be added automatically in our system and we will start checking it regularly for updates.
  • The playlist is in our system but we did not record the update yet. There is a delay between the moment the playlist is updated on Spotify/Apple Music and the moment we record the update. This delay depends for each platform and playlist (more information for Spotify and Apple Music about the delays). If you are in this scenario, you can always manually trigger a playlist update, by clicking on the refresh button on the playlist page.
  • If we are talking about an editorial Spotify playlist, it happens the playlists are personalized for each user based on her listening history and preferences. For that kind of playlist, we only record the standard version of the playlist given to us by the Spotify API, we do not have access to all the possible versions.
